It’s that time again – the weekend is here, and we’re all getting a well-deserved break after a busy week. After all the work and stress, it’s nice to just take a breath and relax. But here’s a thought: how many of us took a moment this week to remember God? I’m sure some days we did, but let’s be honest, there were also days we got too caught up in our busy lives to even think about Him.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 14:2, “The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.” It’s a reminder that God is always watching and waiting for us to turn to Him, but how often do we let our distractions – like our phones – get in the way? How many hours do we spend scrolling through social media or checking notifications, yet forget to pause for a prayer or a moment of gratitude?

So, as we enjoy this weekend, let’s make a small change. Let’s take time to remember God and surrender our hearts to Him. Let’s pray for a pure heart, one that’s fully committed to His will. As we head into the new week, may the Lord bless you and keep you in His grace.
